My Story

Hi, Im Amal. I’m a leadership coach, writer, mother, and unwavering optimist dedicated to helping you find your passion.

I worked in corporate America for most of my adult life, making great money but spending too much time feeling overwhelmed, stressed out, and exhausted. Instead of dealing with those feelings, I just dug deeper and worked harder.  Deep down, I knew my life was unsustainable, but I talked myself into believing that I could handle anything that came my way.

Until I couldn’t.

One morning, I was rushing to get to a client meeting, and I blacked out briefly while driving on the highway.  I had been having heart palpitations but ignored them.  This was my wakeup call. I was lucky I didn’t get into an accident and hurt myself or someone else! That was the moment I realized that nothing in my life would change until I did, so I started working with a coach and looking closely at my own life. I realized I was using up huge amounts of energy blaming other people: my boss, my husband, even the weather …  blaming everyone and everything except me.  When I learned how to hold myself accountable, everything changed.

For the first time, I created balance in my life.  This transformation was so powerful that I became obsessed with the process of coaching and spent the next seven years studying how people operate, what limits them, and how they can overcome those limits to feel their most fulfilled and energized.  I found my calling: helping people identify and overcome the obstacles that keep them from feeling fulfilled and reaching their true potential as leaders and as human beings. ~
